The Mandalorian is back in the saddle in this season 3 trailer (and Grogu too!)
According to the new trailer, the new season of The Mandalorian seems to pick up after the events in The Book of Boba Fett (really, The Mandalorian Season 2.5), with Mando (aka Din Djarin) and Grogu adventuring across the stars again.
However the action and the scale of things seem to be much bigger than it was in the previous seasons. From the look of things, it may be that Mando and Grogu team up with the other Mandalorians under Bo-Katan (played by Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galactica fame) in an effort to take back the Mandalorian homeworld. And a task like that may take more than a season to resolve!
So I can understand the 2023 premiere timeline, even though I’m slightly disappointed.
